What it replaces
LinkedIn asks people to trust profile claims and social context. Peerlist is more useful when the proof is visible: projects, writing, product work, open-source contributions, and technical output.
Limits
Smaller reach means fewer recruiters and fewer default lookups. Public work samples can also reveal clients, timing, domain expertise, and private project history if not cleaned first.
Routine
- Publish only work that is already cleared for public view.
- Use a separate contact address.
- Link back to your own domain as the canonical portfolio.
